Powerzone Recharged

Employees of all levels, associate to manager, from your local Exchange and various AAFES HQ staff gathered for a week-long Powerzone seminar in Dallas. This has become an annual AAFES conference to keep the store associates, managers, buyers at HQ and the vendors all connected. It’s vital that we keep our associates apprised about the industry and trained with today’s rapidly evolving technology. The Powerzone seminar is a key element to keeping our stores current.

Employees spent the majority of their time with manufacturers and suppliers in classroom training sessions, learning about hot, upcoming products, and with hands-on demonstrations. HQ teams presented pertinent information on buying, store operations and marketing/advertising.

It was a quite rigorous week for all involved. However, there were many great take-aways from the event.
