About the Exchange Blog
The Army & Air Force Exchange Service has been watching the corporate blogosphere evolve with various brands talking with real voices in conversations with their customers. We are excited to be able to take a more active role in the military community and hope we can contribute at least as much as we learn. The Exchange: Salute To Your Service Blog is not a “corporate” blog, but a blog where the Exchange will be celebrating the military family.
Of course, this is still a blog representing the Exchange, so you can appreciate there will be limits to what we can say and who we respond to, but our intention is to create a voice that truly represents who we are – a company of individuals who are military, former military, military spouses, and friends and family of military loved ones. We are excited and anxious to hear from you. We truly believe this will help us to become a better brand in servicing the “real” needs of the military community.
Now to introduce myself- I’m Leah Miller, your connection to the Exchange and blog editor. I hope you will enjoy the conversation here and be sure to keep watch for contributions from other employees, experts and friends of the Exchange.
Let me tell you a little about me. I’ve worked at the Exchange for just almost 8 years. Although I have previous retail experience, I’ve not had the opportunity to work in an Exchange store. I have been fortunate enough to get a ton of good experience in varying positions and work with many, many great people here. I feel very blessed to work for such an awesome place.
I love helping people. And I like to think that I’m pretty good at it. I think it’s because I realize that small things to me may be very important to someone else. And if you are taking time out of your busy day to address a situation, then it must be important.
I look forward to working and interacting with all of you!
…
We consider your feedback an integral part of this conversation, so feel free to share your thoughts on how we could make this blog more useful, more informative and even more engaging for you.
Please keep in mind that the Exchange works within a highly regulated industry, which means there are certain topics we will not be able to discuss here. For a full understanding of what we can and can’t discuss, be sure to reference our Rules of Engagement and Terms of Service.

Yes to all 3 questions of the Sony Tablet contest.
I hope this is the right place for the sony contest.
Questions:
• Does the new Sony Tablet S have a front and rear facing camera?
Answer:
Yes it does have front and rear facing camera…..
“Sony Tablet S comes handy with a 5 mega pixel rear facing HD camera with Sony Exmor for mobile CMOS sensor. The front facing camera is 0.3MP. The camera quality of the rear facing camera can be called satisfactory.”
• Is the new Sony Tablet S available in a 16GB and/or 42GB memory storage?
Answer:
Yes it is available in 16GB but not in 42GB memory storage….
“The Sony Tablet S runs on a 1 GHz dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. Sony Tablet S has three variations: Wi-Fi + 16GB internal storage, Wi-Fi + 32GB internal storage, Wi-Fi+3G with 16GB internal storage. The storage in all three models can be extended using a SD card.”
• Does the new Sony Tablet S run on the Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) Platform?
Answer:

I’d like to know if we have a place and where it is that maybe employees who have physical/mental chanllenges can go and get advice from others that may suffer with the same challenges. Perhaps someone had gone thru situations and found a way to handle it or work with it or thru it. This would be a very good help to me. I’m a Army Veteran and I do need the help. If someone sees this blog and even is able to pass it on to someone or a department in our agency (AAFES) that could help, I would greatly appreciate it.
Todd, thanks so much for reaching out to us.
We recommend calling 800.508.8466. and our associates there will be happy to assist.
Please let us know if we can help with anything else.

I am searching for someone that can answer a question concerning a sales promotion that advertised a rebate on a computer. The company offering the rebate on behalf of the exchange no longer is in business and now I am left wondering what to do.
Joseph,
