Whether it’s Zumba, playing a pick up game of football, or jogging with your best bud, there are countless ways to exercise and stay in shape. To us and our friends at Brooks, staying healthy isn’t just important–it’s a way of life. That’s why we’ve partnered to give 8 of you a $100 Exchange Gift Card each for telling us how you stay fit.

My husband and I make it a daily routine to take walks and runs daily. We get the opportunity to exercise and exchange about our days! It’s our favorite way to enjoy the outdoors and exercise.

I like to stay fit by not parking in the handicapped area and parking in the regular parking areas by which making me have to go a little bit farther in my walking. Also, putting on music and getting a chair and doing assisted exercises. Some exercises can be modified and performed while in the sitted position, not at the same intensity but some exercise is better than none.
Some individuals with handicaps have to force themselves to take extra efforts to stay fit because by exercising to keep the body core and other muscles strong helps to alleviate some levels of their pains.

I stay fit by doing word and math problems mentally for 30 minutes each morning.
Then begin mowing yards from 7am to 5pm in 106°F temperatures.
Every day except sunday.

My husband and I both try to stay fit. Together we prepare and eat fresh foods, mostly from our local farmers market, the rest our fine Commissary. Also, together we are committed to yoga 3+ days a week for 1 hour a more and swim when we can. I mostly do isometrics, stretching, walking and light lifting and cardiovascular due to an injury. My husband trains and participates in half marathons that I usually volunteer for and or support him during the race. He also stretches and lifts weights. We also drink half our body weight or more of water daily. The three most important things, hydration, healthy whole food diet and physical activity.

I stay fit as a family with evening walks and jogs. We are a family that stays fit by being active throughout the day encouraging each other in sports and at the pool. It’s a lifestyle in our family that keeps us in the game!

Walking is best for peace of mind. Stop eating junk food and try new healthy foods. Experiment…if you do not….you just do not know what you are missing out on….might be benificial.

We enjoy staying fit as a family, My husband and i play co-ed soccer a couple nights a week. We recently had a new addition to our family, a son. Now we enjoy hiking and walking. We do a family walk or bike ride once a day, It’s a great way to keep in shape as well as spend time together!

I have my own equipment. I do 30 min. Elliptical and weights. Also sit-ups on my exercise ball.

Walk UP the stairs @ work place at less 3X a week. Sometimes twice that same day.

My husband and I take walks together. We also try to eat more fruits and vegetables.

I keep fit by exercising 5x a week: run my crosstrainer, ride my bike to work every day ( I am Dutch, needless to say… :)) and I play golf. And of course….. I watch what I eat! Lots of vegetables, fruits, and very little meat!

I’ve made it a point to balance my diet and reduce my caloric intake, increase my exercise by attending Pilates classes twice a week, going to the gym at least 5 times a week and exercising a minimum of 60 minutes each time and varying the types of exercises I do to keep things fresh. I’ve also started long distance walking and bicycling. The results are beginning to show through. I have more energy throughout the day and feel much healthier!

I stay fit by walking 35 minutes a day on my treadmill or walking outside if the weather is nice. Also 3 days a week i useLindsey Brins post natal workout dvd. After just having 2 babies back to back I need to stay in shape to be able to care for them.

Hi my name is Kiara and I usually work out with my friend. We both have kids so everyday we take turns going to each others houses and either put in a workout DVD or find some other way to stay active. One of my favorite workouts is doing Zumba on the Xbox Kinect. It really gets my heart pumping and makes me sweat like crazy. Its a fun way to get fit. I also do some of the Jillian Michaels DVDs and I have a workout routine on my wall that we do sometimes when were running short on time.

I like to stay in fit by swimming, running and cardio workouts. I also workout 5 days a week since I am in the military active duty and am required to workout and stay in shape. I also like to do zumba and change up excercises.
