Guest Blog With Us!

December 10, 2008

Hi there!

We’re glad you’re interested in guest blogging with us. Simply email us at [email protected] with your guest blog post and a little bit about yourself (if you’re active duty, a military spouse, etc) so we can know you better. Also, if you have a blog site yourself, please include its link as well.

Keep in mind, we’re looking for posts from anyone connected to the Military Community in any way. Feel free to include any personal pictures, as long as they’re appropriate and you have the right/permission necessary to submit them to us. Examples of topics are PCSing, communicating over long distances, dealing with deployments, fun recipe ideas, job hunting, dealing with the unique challenges of being a Military parent, etc. Maybe you’re a Veteran and you have great memories to share. Perhaps you’re a Military Brat—tell us favorite places you traveled to growing up. Maybe you’re a civilian parent of a service member–what do you admire most in your son/daughter? Everyone in the Military Community has a story to tell, and we’d like to hear it.

If you have any questions/comments/concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

We look forward to hearing from you!

I am writing in great concern of the quality of shipping that is going on. I placed an order on the 20th of december, 2 pieces of furniture at the same time. The shipping company has yet to receive 1 peice of furnitue, and they just called me to schedulae a delivery date on the 31st of january for that 1 item. The other item is still out in furniture land I guess. I am very disappointed in thei service. I paid approx $1100 for the 2 pieces, and at this current point, I’m beginning to thinlk it was a waste of time. I can truly say that after all the years I have spent ordering through AAFES, this will be my last time.

My husband is stationed in Kuwait, due to a deployment. He is in the Missouri National Guard. His ex-wife opened an account with Aafes forging his signature on the application and then sent correspondence in after credit approved authorizing herself as a user on the account. My husband had no knowledge of this and is disputing this providing a dispute letter and police report. Josie Jones with the fraud unit has not been much help and now Aafes has garnished 2/3 of my husbands check $1850.00 without even considering circumstances and prior to completing the investigation. It hasn’t even been assigned to “an agent” yet.

Have you ever considered writing an ebook or guest authoring
on other websites? I have a blog centered on the same ideas you discuss and would really like to have you share some
stories/information. I know my readers would enjoy your
work. If you are even remotely interested, feel free to shoot me an e-mail.
